AI engineer intern

Ghent, Belgium

We are looking for a motivated A.I. engineer who is eager to learn and contribute to improving our platform’s user experience.

Our current engineering team owns the full lifecycle of the product, pushing it from discovery to production. You'll work together with other experienced engineers and the CTO to work on an exciting product roadmap.

Our Engineering team

Our tech stack consists of multiple modern technologies. Core components in our stack are:

  • React
  • Typescript
  • NodeJS
  • GraphQL
  • Kubernetes
  • S3

We care more about your eagerness and ability to build mature, maintainable solutions with a good developer experience than a perfect match with our tech stack. You don’t need experience with everything we use but curiosity, autonomy, and a willingness to learn are a must.

About You

You would be a good fit with our team if most of this sounds like you:

  • You have solid experience working with Python and feel comfortable using it to build reliable applications.

  • You know your way around MySQL, from designing schemas to writing efficient queries.

  • You’ve built or experimented with machine learning models, and you enjoy exploring how data can power smarter products.

  • You bring strong analytical skills, approaching problems with curiosity and structured thinking.

  • You care about writing clean, maintainable code, and value clarity over clever hacks.

  • You’re interested in learning NodeJS and excited about expanding your skills across new technologies.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

About us

OutKept is a SaaS startup that helps organisations reduce the risk of being phished through phishing simulations. These are created by an open community of ethical phishers and send to targeted user groups. Phishers earn bounties for every interaction, such as a clicked link or opened attachment.

Our approach of working with a global open community of ethical phishers is unique, and follows a similar logic to bug bounty programs in ethical hacking.

We're a small but growing team that's passionate about making a real impact in cybersecurity. If you're into solving tough problems and building cool things, we'd love to hear from you.

What you can expect

  • Start-up environment with a team that cares.

  • Plenty of room to experiment, make mistakes and learn from them.

  • Remote work options.

  • Flexibility in working hours.

  • Fun after works and fries on friday

Let's set up a quick call to get to know you.
